I finally launched my art YouTube Channel! I had set it up initially with nothing in it, but planned on putting a variety of art related content in it. Then, nothing was going on for a while until recently. I am teaching a watercolor class and needed to film a demo of the technique. I needed to park the videos somewhere, what better place?
So far, I uploaded a set of four videos for the techniques and put them into a playlist of Watercolor Basics. I will expand this with a lot of beginner practices. My thoughts are to create a number of playlists to keep everything organized so what you need is easy to find. The types of things I will put into it are time lapse painting, art gallery walk throughs, watercolor basics, learning watercolor from books to see what techniques we can learn, art supplies and equipment reviews or unboxing, framing, art preservation, etc.
I have filmed a number of time lapse of my paintings in the last year, and I have images of my progress with paintings, so I'm hoping to post two to four times a month. I am doing all filming, editing, and graphics myself and video is labor intense. So, If you also might need someone to splice together your footage, I do that too!
