Another digital drawing done in Procreate on an iPad2, which still works. This time, I wanted to experiment with a stylus that didn’t require a power component. There were several I owned, one was a brush, one had a wire piece that could glide across the surface. But both, I thought, didn’t really recreate the hands on feel of a pencil or other analog materials. I ended up drawing with my finger.
This image was from some reference images I shot while vacationing on Sanibel Island in Florida. I really loved the colors and velvety texture of the plant. The background music is a recording of my son playing ukulele and has a special meaning behind it. He developed it after going through a crisis but came out on the other side okay.
I hope you enjoy this little time-lapse. Feedback welcome on the YouTube video itself, click on the YouTube icon to go there.
