Sometimes going back to basics pays off. This painting was the result of an in class demonstration using various experimental tools in watercolor painting such as plastic wrap, cardboard, stamping with various objects, scraping, and gold paint. My abstract work usually comes out as landscapes. So the green moon helped to make it a nightscape. As I do live demonstrations with these techniques, I'll probably end up with a series of these.
